God's Purpose and Plan from the Beginning

God has elevated every believer to the role of God’s co-worker and as an ambassador for Jesus.  In doing so, God uses us by His Spirit to reveal the presence and power of God in how we live and demonstrate compassion for everyone.  We have no favorites.  Salvation is for everyone!

• God’s Purpose - God is love. God offers a relationship to everyone.  His desire is a restored relationship with all of Creation.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.  Titus 2:11

• God’s Plan - God has a plan in how each one of us fits into His purpose of bringing salvation to the world. We all have a role that was set in motion before we were born.  Our journey together is to encourage one another to faithfully devoutly personalize God’s plan.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11

Become God’s influencers dispensing His grace and mercy wherever He leads us, as we rely on His Holy Spirit to empower, lead, guide and direct in accordance with God’s will.

COV Community

We believe we are to experience faith in Jesus together.   Acts 2 is the foundation of how life we experience life through Christ.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

1.)        Worship and Prayer

Worship and prayer are two actions that reveal our trust in our Almighty God.  In this we are glorying God and get to experience His presence.

2.)        Fellowship

We believe no person should be left alone.  It is on us to be there to meet the needs of the community.  God is our enabler and will supply what we need when we need it.

3.)        Education

Growing in our knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord is a priority at COV.  Knowing more will lead us to a life of grace and peace no matter the situation.

4.)        Outreach

The COV Community is committed to bringing God’s grace and message of salvation to the world.  We do not want to receive God’s grace in vain.
