My life’s journey can be characterized as one of major adjustments.
I experienced 2 wars before the age of seven and moved between 3 countries before age eighteen!
In my 46-year career as a high technology entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, I was founder and CEO of several companies. I have also gone through Initial Public Offerings, mergers and acquisitions. These experiences equipped me to mentor young professionals in leadership and strategic business and personal development skills.
My journey with God has also been one of major adjustments through a painful personal tragedy – the sudden, unexpected death of a beloved son, my only child — that led me to surrendering my life to Christ as my personal Lord and Savior!
Upon retirement, I answered God’s call by committing time as well as past personal and professional experiences towards serving Him in ministry at Church of the Valley. Leading in various capacities include Bible studies, Director of Women’s Ministry, discipleship and currently serving as Director of Operations. My husband and I have been residents of Danville for 30 years.
Obedience to God’s will begins in the heart expressed through action and not by words only. Committing to serving the Lord in whatever and wherever He requires often means accepting changes and interruptions in my life. Obedience is costly and at times presents a testing of faith and trust in the Lord.
God has blessed me abundantly in preparing me from an early age to be willing and able to face life’s adjustments. Because of His equipping, I have confidence my journey and purpose are aligned with His will by His power.
To God be the honor and glory!
