Robert Stonebridge
Growing up in the city of San Ramon and having lived in the Bay area for 40 years, I presently live in Danville. My wife of 18 years is Aimee and our daughter is Jules.
God has taken me on an amazing journey of faith. I was prayed blessing over as an infant and was raised in a churched family.
I accepted Christ when I was 12 years old at a youth group event and graduated from California High School in San Ramon in 1993.
My walk with Jesus has seen its share of valleys, especially during my high school years when my church family was no longer part of my life. But, through all the ups and downs, His promises and faithfulness shine through.
When our daughter was born, my wife and I found our way to being a family that lives and does our faith journey together.
Eventually, the Lord brought us to COV and ultimately called me to join the staff and run ministry. My heart for the families that walk onto the COV campus is driven by a passion to grow relationships in Christ for every kid from preschool through college and beyond. I believe in the Lord and His holy church.
I have been the Director of Kid’s Ministries here at COV for 5 years. I never, in my wildest imagination, thought I would someday have a job in the church.
I am abundantly grateful for each day and for the calling and purpose God has for my life. I have grown so much since I joined COV in 2015. I am excited to see where God takes us as a congregation in 2020.
